Screen Printing

This could be interesting. I bought a cheapo screen printing kit today to make my own shirt! Turns out, it would cost about $200 to get one shirt made, so learning how to screen print might be a good thing to do during the taper. I am definitely not artistic, and this has high potential for miserable failure. Should be funny.

Remember the KonaSpeed Hats? We are still waiting. Headsweats sent them out just as they promised, but there seems to be a hiccup in the FedEx system. I hope to get them soon!

Training wise, I only swam today. It was a really enjoyable workout. I felt pretty good and managed to survive about an hour and fourteen minutes. I am real excited about racing this weekend. It should be a great event - plus there is no self-inflicted pressure at all; just show up and have fun! It is a Sprint Distance and it is sold out with 800 people. I am generally not great at short/speedy races, but I think the 19 mile bike ride will be long enough to get an idea of what to expect in Hawaii. Also, its such a great opportunity to see people "being fit" and achieving their goals. I love it!

I work tomorrow - transporting pressurized tubes again - and hope to get a light ride and run complete somewhere in there.

KonaSpeed. It begins with a step.
