Uhg . . .

Today was a long day! After spending the better part of the morning at the hospital monitoring Andrea and the baby, we were advised 1) Yes, she is in early labor, and 2) Its probably too early to go to the hospital to wait. Andrea is in positive spirits, but understandably, the anticipation is wearing all of us down a bit.

By noon time, we were all hungry again, and had a nice meal at The Cheescake Factory in the Galleria Mall. Andrea followed it up with lots of walking to help the little guy decide to "drop" by for a visit. This afternoon, we all slept!

I felt awful most of today. Tired like I could taste it, nutritionally devoid, decaffeinated, and achy from coughing so much. By noon, I felt so worn down and loopy from the cough medicine I have been taking, I wasn't sure I would ever crawl out of this funk.

Its been beautiful weather and I have seen lots of people out running. A few more days, and I should feel ready to get back at it - mentally, I am excited to train. Of course, by the time I get to it, I will be back at work and hopefully, the baby will be here, so there will be new challenges.

That is about it. I don't even have the energy to write creatively tonight.

I will keep things up to date the best I can. Thanks for checking in. I hope to provide more "pizzaz" as soon as this medicine finishes its job!
