Friends and Family

I just got a note from my friend Mark. We were in the Army together more than a "few" years ago. Its always nice to stay in contact with those friends who have shared life experiences with you - learning Army "Protocol" was an experience. Its especially neat when life paths criss cross and you able to share big events with friends and family.

My dad flew home last night, and I had a chance to sleep at home. I am working today, but will be back at the hospital tonight (Andrea's mom stayed last night). Hopefully, Andrea and DC-3 will be released from the hospital on Saturday.

I actually thought about getting up early and running this morning, but I KNOW I needed the sleep more than any training! I slept until our dog Paxton "told" me he needed to go outside. Thanks, Paxton.

I am looking forward to writing about the birth experience for us; I know it has been summarized before as something remarkable beyond any word's description. It certainly is a Rite of Passage; something I will never forget.

Thanks for Reading!
