Before I go to work . . .

We woke up a little later today and did some errands, so I didn't ride the trainer. Instead, I made some great blueberry waffles for Andrea! She has to start storing some carbs for our big day! I am still trying to get her to bring some gel & Coke in her "special needs" bag for the later stages of labor. . . . She's not buying into it though.

Last night, I snuck in a run. It was good. Very comfortable :41 minutes - about 5.6 miles or so. Running down a quiet, dark street with good music is great - especially if noone is chasing you.
I just got back from swimming. I enjoy swimming, but if I ever make a mistake and give you advice how to swim - don't listen. I get humbled every time I get wet. Its so difficult. My friend Josh just left a message on my phone: "Dan, I just swam with this guy who does :55 hundreds (yards) - and he could go faster." Great. Just what I needed to hear after swallowing half the pool for an hour happy with my 1:45 100's. Vertically challenged and obviously not streamlined! Swimming is still fun, and great exercise!!!!

Believe me, I know I have a lot of LONG workouts to do. My goal is a long run on Sunday! Hopefully, I can build that consistently until October. Long bike rides will be on the trainer until after the baby, then theoretically with permission, I may be able to get a few LONG rides in up in Conroe before October.

Gotta Fly!
